With over 40 years of wine industry experience they have a unique understanding of the various factions of the market and focus of extreme quality all the while ensuring great value. The wines produced by Uncorqed Selections tells a story of superior craftsmanship that we are proud to display. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy making and consuming them.
Our Mission
Uncorqed Selections has always cherished and respected wines from outside the US. Our focus here is on small artisanal producers that are stunning examples of the region from which they come from.The selections we choose are a balance of new, emerging talent who merit serious attention as well as iconic growers that are masters of their craft, that consistently refine what they’re doing every year. Our relentless pursuit of unique wineries, producing exciting and delicious wines helping us build the finest boutique portfolio, that we can offer to you at a great value defines our methodology.
Our Team
David Masi
David’s wine experiences date back to his college days in NY; when he had the opportunity to work with Kevin Zraly at the eponymous Windows of the World Wine School. Kevin took David under his wing and David not only helped Kevin with his infamous book Windows on the World Complete Wine Course” , he was also charged with class instruction and conducting various seminars with the Wine Advocate and Robert Parker. Executive Seminars, also at the same time working wth Sergio Esposito focusing on Italian Wines consulting.
Throughout David’s business career he could not get enough of the wine industry, working harvests, crushes, and helping to vinify wines, with esteemed artisan wineries in California, Oregon and Washington while working in corporate America. When David decided to start Uncorqed back in 2008, it was to represent the artisanal side of the wine business. Focusing on small production high-quality producers that expressed passion and soul for their craft, just like David. All the while David would make small batches of wine procuring grapes and cellar space from his friends into industry. David’s love of imported wines was the impetus for Uncorqed’s successful foray into exporting wines from both Europe & the Southern Hemisphere.
Corey D. Boddie
Corey is an attorney, entrepreneur, author, and investor. His law firm, Boddie & Associates, P.C., represents many wineries and wine industry notables along with various entities and celebrities in the entertainment business. Also, Corey owns Delon Wine Importers and Delon Wine Consultants, which consults various wineries regarding winery management. He lives between Los Angeles, CA and New York City. His wine education was obtained at the Napa Valley Wine Academy and he is a member of the Society of Wine Educators and American Wine Society.
Rafael Littaua
Rafael or “Raffy” to friends and associates is an entrepreneur and investor with a well-rounded background in finance, investment banking, product development and merchandising. He holds an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. He is well-versed in international trade, having traveled extensively and set up businesses all over Asia and Europe in various capacities. He was highly instrumental in the growth of companies such as Harbor Freight Tools and Alltrade LLC where he worked himself up and held various top executive positions and at the same time honed his entrepreneurial and merchandising skills. He founded a few start-ups which are still in existence and grew them into multi million dollar entities within a few years from inception. He has been involved in the rare wine side of the wine business as an avid investor, collector and drinker.
